Description

Bring your own project to this one-day syverkstad and work with a small group of like-minded people in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. I will be there working with you to solve any bagmaking issues one-on-one, and give helpful hints and tips on projects. Undervisningen sker på engelska, men jag kan svenglish! Och visst få du gärna prata svenska till mig.

What’s included in the course fee

For this workshop, the focus is on your own projects. Bring whatever bag or pouch pattern you are working on, and bring your own materials.

I will bring with me cutting and ironing equipment which you can use. Rotary cutters, cutting mats, and rivet presses will also available for you use.

Morning and afternoon fika

What to bring

  • Your bag sewing project/s. This can be a new project or a project you already have in progress. If you have a project you have a problem with and can’t progress with it, bring it along and let’s get you sewing it again.
  • If you are working from a sewing pattern, please bring a printout with you, or a tab/surfplatta to work from.
  • Your own sewing machine (in good and safe working order)
  • Pins, clips, seam ripper, any tools or supplies you prefer to have to hand. I will have a selection of popular tools available to buy if you forget anything.
  • The correct needles for your project.
  • Bring your own exterior and lining fabrics.
  • The correct presser feet for your project. If you are using vinyl fabric, remember to bring a teflon presser foot, or a walking foot.
  • Bring stabilisers/interfacings for your chosen project. I will have a small selection of the most popular interfacings and stabilising available to buy if you need them.
  • Your own lunch – a fridge and microwave are available, or there is a Circle K and pizza restaurant close by
