NYE get together is CANCELLED!
You have no idea how much it hurts me to say this, but it literally does!
I have almost completely lost my voice. Those of you who have been watching my lives throughout December will already know how much I have struggled to make myself heard – and I’m sure it must be quite frustrating to watch. Unfortunately, it hasn’t improved over Christmas. I’ve been told it is a problem with some medication I am on but I have to wait until the doctor’s office/surgery is open as usual after the Christmas holiday. Why they couldn’t have just left well enough alone, I don’t know!
I was so looking forward to spending some time with you and getting to know you more, but I just can’t manage it. I’m also concerned about doing permanent damage to my vocal chords by pushing it too far. It’s been quite difficult to rest my voice whilst having house guests for the holiday.
I don’t want to say it is completely cancelled, though. That would be too sad! Nor do I want to set a date and time to do it because I really need to get my voice sorted so I don’t let you down again. But as soon as I do, we will set a date for a get together. I hope you will look forward to that.

I hope you will have a great time with your sewing projects on NYE, even if we aren’t together online, I’ll be there in spirit with you!!!
