Hi! I’m Zoey Lundgren, I’m a Brit living in Östergötland, Sweden.

In my private life I’m a mum, wife, sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, niece, grandaughter, to name just a few of the things that shape me.  

Professionally, I have been many things over the years, from nail technician to academic. I have worked mostly in the entertainment and tourism industry and have travelled the world. However, my first loves were writing, sewing, crochet, knitting and paper piecing. Throughout the years, my love of these crafts has never quite let me be. I spent 6 years working in the textile industry and I have a first class honours degree in literature.

I truly believe that creating something using any kind of crafting process gifts a person with a feeling of empowerment. It feels truly fantastic to be able to share ideas, sewing tutorials, craft project inspiration and practical sewing tips through my website and Facebook group, and to pass on that empowerment and positivity to my fellow crafters everywhere. 

I came to live in Sweden kind of accidentally a few years ago and we built a house on my extended family’s land. The house and land often act as inspiration and a backdrop for my work.

I love the work I do through Scandinotions and value the opportunity to be always learning from it.
